2023 TOYOTA CROWN Exterior
The design of the 2023 Toyota Crown is peculiar. With higher ground clearance than the typical large sedan, it is a sweeping sedan with some tough crossover elements. The Crown is 194 inches in length, making it slightly longer than the Camry but significantly shorter than the previous Avalon. Compared to the Camry, the Crown rides four inches higher. Sharp headlamps, a wide horizontal bar connecting the daytime running lights to the grille at the bottom of the front fascia, and a large grille are all present on the front end. The Crown has a curved trunk shape, and the slender taillights are joined by a horizontal piece at the rear.
2023 TOYOTA CROWN Interior
The interior of the 2023 Toyota Crown is well decorated. A single trim piece that covers half of the dashboard is merged with two sizable screens that come standard with the sedan. Direct access to the center console, which contains two short rows of physical controls, is provided by the curved lines on the dashboard’s lower portion. Compared to Toyota’s other sedans, the Crown has a raised seating position to make it feel more like a crossover. Toyota hasn’t yet revealed all of the features for the 2023 Crown. Six audio speakers and a 12.3-inch touchscreen are included with the entry-level XLE model. Additionally, we anticipate standard inclusion of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, the most recent infotainment system from Toyota, “Hey, Toyota” voice recognition, and USB charging outlets. A digital key, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, and a JBL audio system will all be optional extras.
2023 TOYOTA CROWN Engine
Two hybrid powertrains will be offered for the Toyota Crown in 2023. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and three electric motors make up the base powertrain, which has a combined output of 236 horsepower. The default automatic transmission is a continuously variable one. The top-of-the-line Platinum has a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor with high performance mounted on the back axle. It has a 340 horsepower rating for output. An automatic transmission with six speeds is included with the Platinum. On the Crown, all-wheel drive is standard.
2023 TOYOTA CROWN Price & Release date
Later this fall, the 2023 Toyota Crown is anticipated to arrive on sale. The official 2023 Crown starting price is $41,045 plus a $1,095 destination fee. The Platinum Hybrid MAX is the most expensive Crown, costing $53,445. This represents a significant price increase when compared to the least expensive Toyota Avalon, which has a price range of $36,825 to $43,525. It does, however, resemble the previous Avalon Hybrid more closely.
