2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre–The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of Rolls-Royce, described electric cars as “absolutely noiseless and clean” in the year 1900. He believes that once fixed charging stations become a reality, EVs “should become quite handy.” This was a farsighted approach, as it only took Rolls-Royce another 122 years to unveil its first all-electric vehicle, the Spectre.

2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre Exterior
Modern yacht designs with their “clarity and accuracy of line” served as inspiration for the 2024 Spectre’s initial sketches. Despite being Rolls’ first electric vehicle, we’re pleased to note that the company has retained the Pantheon grille design up front. In actuality, the grille on this Rolls-Royce is the biggest one ever installed, thanks to its polished stainless steel appearance. The grille now has smoother, flusher-fitting vanes that help move air around the front of the car. At night, 22 LEDs softly illuminate the grille. The coupe’s fastback roofline is evident when one moves along the side. It shares coach doors with the Wraith coupe, and it’s the first two-door production coupe to utilize 23-inch wheels in in a century. There are two options: coach doors with a background of wood Canadel Paneling or Starlight Doors with 4,796 gently lighted “stars.” The largest single body panel ever created for a Rolls-Royce is where the rectangular, jewel-like taillights are located at the rear.
Given that the Spectre is a Rolls-Royce, your options for paint colors are essentially limitless. Standard and contrast colors are both offered, and the online configurator’s full aero two-tone effect may be used to create a completely unique design with only a few clicks. Black Diamond, Anthracite, Scala Red, English White, and Salamanca Blue are a few of the common hues. Additionally, there is a Commissioned Collection with some incredibly distinctive colors. The Rolls-Royce Spectre’s interior is just as spectacular as can be expected. Although its form isn’t a huge difference from Rolls vehicles with gas engines, practically every panel can be altered so that each Spectre’s interior can look radically different from the next. In addition to managing many of the car’s operations, the revised digital architecture, called Spirit, alters how users interact with the Spectre. The Whispers app makes it simpler than ever to communicate with the car remotely, and the dials’ hue can now match the interior’s color to obfuscate the distinction between the actual world and the car’s digital architecture. Similar to the power reserve meter used in the Phantom, digital gauges in front of the driver show how much power is available. Despite all the excitement about the car’s incredible technology—it has 141,200 sender-receiver functions and more than four miles of cabling—refreshing it’s that there are still numerous physical buttons. The brand’s distinctive clock is located next to the center screen.
2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre Powertrain
There is no whisper-quiet engine under the huge hood of the Rolls-Royce Spectre. Instead, there are more silent dual electric motors that are capable of delivering 664 lb-ft of torque and 577 horsepower. This massive grand tourer can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds when equipped with all-wheel drive, and it has a peak speed cap of 155 mph. The final specifications may change when the car undergoes its final round of testing in Q2 2023, according to Rolls. The ultimate range and MPGe rating of the Spectre are yet unknown, as are certain other details. The Spectre’s EPA-estimated range, on the other hand, is 260 miles when the battery is fully charged. The size of the battery hasn’t yet been made public. 260 miles is considerably less than the psychological 300-mile threshold that so many manufacturers target with their EVs, but an EV this size and weight is only capable of so much. 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre Price & Release date
The Rolls-Royce Spectre will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2023, and deliveries will then begin in all countries, including the USA. Since Bentley doesn’t yet have its first EV ready and there aren’t any other two-door electric grand coupes on the market, it won’t have any direct competitors when it launches. For most of us, purchasing a 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre will remain a pipe dream due to its starting MSRP of $413,000.
