2024 GMC Sierra EV–When the 2024 Sierra EV arrives to accompany the enormous, extravagant Hummer EV pickup, GMC will soon have not one, but two electric pickup trucks. The Sierra is intended to be a more practical option, and like its gasoline stablemate, the Silverado EV, it has many similarities to its Chevrolet-badged sister. Even still, the Denali Edition 1 is the most opulent launch model and will cost more than $100,000. It has an all-wheel drive powertrain with two motors that produces 754 horsepower, and it boasts a range of 400 miles. For 2025, more models with less aggressive performance claims, such as the Elevation and AT4, will be released. Only a crew cab with a 5 foot 11 inch bed will be available for the Sierra EV.

2024 GMC Sierra EV Exterior
The GMC Sierra EV’s exterior is noticeably more shapely, yet some people may find the Hummer EV’s vulgarity offensive. The truck’s ultra-premium appearance in Denali Edition 1 form introduces a new design language for the company. With distinctive approach lighting, notably around the newly shaped GMC grille, the top-of-the-line vehicle welcomes you. The lighting signature starts below the tall hood and runs all the way down, only being broken up by a few trim pieces. This should make it appear fairly spectacular at night. The redesigned eTrunk in front functions as a waterproof cargo compartment, unlike the gas-powered Sierra. The pickup features strong, muscular lines down the sides, and the wheel arches are practically square in outline. Although the wheel sizes for the less expensive trims weren’t specified, we anticipate that they will range from 18 to 22 inches, depending on the trim and the tire options you choose based on how much time you spend on or off the road. But the Denali travels on substantial 24-inch items.
Although the rear end is rather traditional, the glossy black trim that is found further down on the Denali is reproduced here. Only the Crew Cab version of the Denali Edition 1 is available, and it features the MultiPro Midgate. Between the cab and the tailgate, this offers a helpful nine feet of storage space when it is open. This model also comes equipped with the MultiPro Tailgate. Both of these options most likely come with cheaper trims. A new fixed panoramic glass roof has been added to the Denali Edition 1 and it spans both rows. It features a UV coating and is IR reflective to maintain a cozy temperature inside. The whole color range of the GMC Sierra EV is not yet known, but we anticipate it to include everything from the standard whites and blacks to more vibrant reds and blues. 2024 GMC Sierra EV Interior
Only a crew-cab truck with a bed that is nearly six feet long will be available for the Sierra EV. This implies that it should have a roomy interior and a cozy back seat. The Hummer EV’s “crab walk” feature, which allows the rear wheels to be turned in the same direction as the front wheels to navigate the truck diagonally, and an air suspension that can raise and lower the truck are two other tricks the Sierra will have up its sleeve.
2024 GMC Sierra EV Price & Release date
The MSRP of the 2024 GMC Sierra EV range will start at about $50,000 in the USA, without including a $1,695 destination fee. That is in line with the starting price of the Ford F-150 Lightning Pro, which is $51,974, despite recent price increases from its Blue Oval rival. The Pro trim, on the other hand, is a workhorse model, so it’s unlikely that the base Sierra EV will be that simple. Early in 2024 is when the GMC Sierra EV will go on sale, although it only pertains to the Denali Edition 1. The AT4 and Elevation trims won’t be available until the 2025 model year.
