The moniker lives on in Mexico, where a new model will be introduced for the 2024 model year. Sales will start in the first half of 2023. The Aveo is currently offered in Mexico as a four-door sedan, however the new generation will only be available as a five-door hatchback.

The next-generation automobile has more angular style than the current model, giving it a more modern appearance. The headlamps have become thinner and more blocky. The beltline kinks upward in the back, making the tail appear sharper. The back end has a mimicked diffuser.

Chevy has yet to release interior images of the 2024 Aveo or discuss specifics about the available trim options. According to the manufacturer, the vehicle contains six airbags and seatbelt alerts for both front and rear passengers. The contemporary Aveo has a simple cabin. The offered luxuries include a 4.2-inch infotainment screen and automated climate control.

Another feature of the car that has yet to be discussed is the powertrain. The current Aveo in Mexico has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 107 horsepower (80 kilowatts) and 104 pound-feet (141 Newton-meters) of torque. The front wheels can be driven by either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission.
2024 Chevrolet Aveo Price & Release date
The Aveo, like its predecessor in the United States, is Chevy’s most basic vehicle available in Mexico. Prices start at 276,400 Mexican pesos ($13,965 at current currency rates) for the existing model. The rest of the four-door sedan lineup in the country is made up of the Onix and Cavalier. The sales will commence in the first half of 2023.
